It must be lunchtime.
I’ve walked to the bank to pay my gas bill however, there are 10 of us waiting to be taken care of.
Since moving here, however, and not having to work every day, oh, and being sober, patience is easy for me.
Good thing as I waited about 20 minutes in the air conditioned bank, then walked the whole way home. I stopped at the Plaza, and bought a full chicken breast, one for dinner tomorrow night, and one to freeze.
I have to tell you something I discovered yesterday while walking to Walmart. It no longer seems like an endless quest with the end nowhere in sight. Once I turn my music up high enough to drown out my brain trying to tell my body it’s too tired to walk all that way, turn around, and go home, I find I’m at my destination in no time.
Thank you Jesus.
Until next time lovely people, stay happy, and healthy in the Lord.
