Finally, I was able to put up the coat hooks that I’ve been trying to put up for over a year.
I was able to use the other white board, the sibling to the one that is holding up the pine planks in the pantry, and 5 J-hooks that I found somewhere. Ivan had to help me as I’ve never done anything like it before. I learned quite a bit about predrilling the holes for the screws, and he learned how to do a few things “the easier” way. Let me show you what I mean.
Here is the before photo. Can we all agree that it is a fairly boring space?

That is my bastón, waiting for me to take another walk. Not tonight my friend. My feet, and legs are too tired. Gosh, I’m getting old! Better old than dead.
Here’s just after I got it on the wall.

It definitely added a bit of interest, don’t you think? It sure will come in handy once the cooler weather gets here. Easy to grab our jacket, or vest. We don’t really use heavy coats down here, though some days we could use them.
Enough of that. I just wanted to show off my burgeoning DIY skills.
Until next time, stay happy, and healthy in the Lord.
